Nature, Culture, and the Human Condition: How Artists See our World
Grandstand, upper level
Saturday and Sunday
This group of visual artists expresses their perceptions of natural and constructed environments with the power to involve us in ways far beyond everyday understanding.
Artists transform the commonplace using materials in extraordinary ways: color, patterns, lines, mass, volume, shapes, and forms that engage our emotions. In this exhibition, the artists take us on a journey to rediscover the world and question traditions and standards that place limits on our ability to change.
